Reflection of 2nd lesson

The traditional way of teaching math vs innovative approachs
Education is like a light in the dark. It can light and show the right way when we do not know direction to reach our goal. By having education we can think and act rationally, get a lot of knowledge and experience which is very important to our life. And also it is capable to increase our capacity. If we really have a willingness to change, we are able to get some positive progress. Every  result that we  have obtained is comparable with our effort. In this step there is a learning process that can be a resolution for our future.
We must realize that every step that we take during learning process bring so many advantages. We learn not only school subjects but also how we interact each other. We are trying how to understand the subject, memorize the characteistic of each lesson, be patient in solving problem, and so on. The interaction between teacher and student is the main thing in learning process. Due to the flow of information distribution from theacher to student. There are several methods that used during learning process. But we can divide into two groups. Traditional learning and innovative learning.  Here I will elaborate traditional way of teaching math and innovative approach.
In the pre-technology education context, the teacher is the sender or the
source, the educational material is the information or message, and the student is the
receiver of the information. In terms of the delivery medium, the educator can deliver
the message via the “chalk-and- talk” method. The teacher is the center of any information. Student only receive information that is given by teacher. This is certainly less influential in improving student’s knowledge. As we know math is inexact science that always have exact solution. But there are so many way to find the solution. Here we need large of knowledge to solve the problem. In other words, traditional method let the teacher delivers the lecture content and the students listen to the lecture. Thus, the learning mode tends to be passive and the learners play little part in their learning process. It has been found in most universities by many teachers and students that the conventional lecture approach in classroom is of limited effectiveness in both teaching and learning. In such a lecture students assume a purely passive role and their concentration fades off after 15-20 minutes. This is why traditional method is not effective.

Innovative approach of learning mathemathics bring new atmosphere. It combine various media to learn math, besides just hearing teacher then solving some problem.  Usually innovative approach using multimedia during learning process. The combination of various digital media types such as text, audio, images, video, and web-based learning, into an integrated multy-sensory interactive application or presentation to convey information to audiences.
The teacher uses multimedia to modify the contents of the material. It will
help the teacher to represent  material in a more meaningful way, using different media
elements. These media elements can be converted into digital form, modified and
customized for the final presentation. So, the students are able to learn better since they use multiple sensory modalities, which would make them more motivated to pay more attention to the information presented and retain the information better.
From the above, wecan conclude that the role of student is more important than teachers. The concepts of  paperless and penless classroom are emerging as an alternative to the old teaching
learning method.
